The game is about exploration and developing your game, so we chose to keep the game difficulty and options similar to Thea – it’s a fun time for players seeking a good old nostalgia trip! But the Bomb Voyage is very different than Thea because we wanted to focus on a specific goal – solve puzzles that would be fun and challenging. The missions are divided into smaller tasks, the developer’s challenge is to find the way to do this as quickly as possible, and players should try to do everything possible to succeed and also earn extra time for the next step.Each puzzle is solved differently – Thea would simply open another wall and repair it to make sure there’s a good and permanent path. In Bomb Voyage, players have to solve the puzzle and use their imagination to do the rest of the task. There are also new tools such as breaking the floor to see the parts that are on the other side and red walls for utilities or signs.The road is a little bit different – it seems like each map is a puzzle of itself with a solution, which is different from Thea’s roads. Thea 2 also has plenty of side-missions – some of them are optional, you can simply choose not to take them but most of them are there to help the story and the game itself progress. We created Thea 2 with the following goals:- to add a new game mode, Bomb Voyage, – to offer a new mechanic and new puzzles through the use of new tools that will let the player make their imagination work for them, – to build an enjoyable and charming game that will keep players coming back to play.Thea 2: The Awakening arrives on Nintendo Switch on December 18th.
